History: Born in Florence from a small trader's family, was taken (or bought) and brought to Verdi shortly after the manifestation of his Gift. There Oliverius became a Magus and he practiced his trade as a Verditius for several years. This ended when a rivalry with a resident Magus, who has hampered him several times, became unsustainable. Oliverius choose Praesidium Orae as his new home because is an ascending Covenant rich in Vis and mundane wealth, located not too far from Verdi where his enemy still dwell. In fact, Oliverius has not forgotten and waits for the best time to repay the attentions he receives, randomly questioning his apprentice on Verdi's news and hoping to get some useful information.

Talisman:

A very elaborate knife of electrum with a cross-shaped hilt. The grip is ivory-coated and decorated with intricated inlays of gold, silver, bronze and iron. At the pommel there’s a ruby and at the ends of the guard there are an amber and an opal. The center of the guard presents a small sphere of glass containing a drop of mercury at one side and a magnet inscribed with an Elder rune of Rego at the other side. The item has been prepared for enchantment as a compound item with 16 pawns of Vis and attuned as talisman the following season. Currently has 8 spaces available.

STAFF OF MULTIFORM LANTERNS

The staff is a long rod of pine, reinforced with brass fittings, and capped with brass tips, and an empty bass lantern hanging from one end.
This creates an illusory lantern at the location indicated by the lantern hanging from the end of the staff, and remains there after the staff has been moved. If a surface is touched, it appears attached there. If a point in space is 'touched', the lantern floats there. The illusory lantern appears to have stained glass shutters, and the light it produces is of a hue chosen by the caster. By touching the rod to a lantern, the lantern can have its color changed, or be dismissed. Grants a lab the Superior Lighting virtue.
